The People's Attorney | Arvada, CO

Serving Colorado With 26 Years of Experience

When the government starts to interact with your life, choosing the right attorney is critical. The key is to remember that you have a right to counsel, a right to a jury trial and to cross-examine the witnesses against you. Too often, a defendant in a criminal case simply takes the offered plea-bargain – without consideration of other options. Gary D. Fielder is a seasoned and practiced trial attorney, and has conducted over 400 jury trials in federal and state courts all over Colorado.

“You can't take every case to the jury, and you can't win every case you try. But you have to fight. The prosecution has the burden of proof and it's your life – why settle? In today's world, with our criminal histories a mouse click away, getting the best possible deal is paramount. But the only way to do that is to get a trial attorney.”

Mr. Fielder gave us about an hour of his time. He talked with us about our case and how he would approach it. He stressed the goal of our reason to hire him. He totally impressed my bf, who doesn't have much respect or patience for lawyers. Mr. Fielder did not discuss cost until after he explained his strategy, reasons and his opinion on the final outcome. It was refreshing to have the costs laud out in easy to understand terms.

He did not pressure us in any way. He even advised us if what we needed to do immediately.
